It's Thursday, and that means that once again, we get to introduce one of Nashville's great unsigned or indy label acts that we think you should know about. Today we feature a up-and-coming singer and songwriter from upstate New York, who has already seen two of her concert performances featured as part of PBS television programs.

Jessica Lynn's star is definitely rising and getting brighter every day. Two of her recent concert performances, Takin' Over - Live From The Paramount Theater and This Much Fun - Live From the Winery at St. George have already been featured as national PBS television programs. She has performed the National Anthem at New York City's Madison Square Garden several times, and performed at festivals alongside such top notch acts as Brad Paisley, Montgomery Gentry and Tim McGraw, while also touring as JoDee Messina's opening act, as well as also opening for ZZ Top.

2016 saw the release of Jessica's self-titled debut EP, which led to tours of the US, Canada and Europe. Her debut single, "Not Your Woman" made several lists of artists to watch and the video received airplay on CMT. In 2017, she  follows the project with her second EP, Look At Me That Way, a collection that led CBS Evening News to call Jessica a "rocket force". We have the lead single from the EP in our spotlight today. Brought to you by All American Super Car Wash of Lawton, Jessica Lynn and "Crazy Idea" is today's Catch of the Day, new music you haven't heard, but you'll want to hear it again.
