It's the first Unsigned/Indy Artist Thursday of 2016, and today we feature a young artist who has been included on countless lists of up-and-coming country artists to watch in 2016.

Since the time he started singing, there has never been a doubt that Ryan Broshear is "country". Born and raised on the family farm in Oxford, Ohio, Broshear's charisma and talent have shown through from the moment he started performing, and has carried through as he carves out his career as a singer and songwriter. Broshear has built a loyal fan base around the country by simply being himself, putting on incredible, high energy, with the passion he has for country music coming out with every word.

"Broshear’s voice remains his best calling card but Paint It Red offers a man with the talent to hit the mainstream if given a shot. “Spin Me” hits all the right mid tempo melodic spots and that’s enough to suggest radio success while “Friday Night In A Small Town” may be the best song that hasn’t been (yet) recorded by Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan or Thomas Rhett."

With the release of his debut EP Paint It Red on Painted Horse Records, Broshear has been named to many "ones to watch" lists for 2016, none more impressive than Billboard Magazine's inclusion of Broshear on this year's “Top 10 Artist to Watch” feature. Billboard calls him an artist whose "...voice remains his best calling card but Paint It Red offers a man with the talent to hit the mainstream if given a shot."

Broshear is poised and positioned to hit big in 2016, and the first single from the EP is in our spotlight today. Ryan Broshear and "Spin Me" is our Unsigned/Indy Artist Thursday Catch of the Day, new music you haven't heard, but you'll want to hear it again.
