Christmas films like A Christmas Story and Christmas Vacation go right along with mistletoe, carols, and cookies as staples of the holiday season.  And in celebration of the 12 days of Christmas, here are 12 bits of trivia you may not know about some of your favorite Christmas movies.

The 2013 'CMA Country Christmas' special was a mixed bag of upbeat, fun and festive holiday classics along with several heartfelt, sincere, hymn-like songs. Rascal Flatts performed twice and chose to be lighthearted for one track and more thoughtful with the other.

Luke Bryan teamed up with Willie Robertson of 'Duck Dynasty' to sing their duet 'Hairy Christmas' during the 2013 'CMA Country Christmas' event, and it was very ... hairy ... onstage.

Diva alert! Jennifer Nettles -- who served as the host of the 2013 'CMA Country Christmas' on Monday (Dec. 2) -- sang many songs through the evening. But perhaps her most powerful moment was her absolutely gorgeous duet with soul singer Mary J. Blige, 'Do You Hear What I Hear?'

When we were little, my siblings and I all sat with the Sears catalog and circled everything we wanted in crayon. We would all choose different colors so Santa would know which one wanted each item. We might even tear the page out and actually mail it to him. A friend told me his daughters wanted Santa's phone number so they could "text" their list to Santa (that is the age we live in).

December brings about many things. The calendar gets extremely busy as the twelfth month rolls around. Each and every holiday seems to have some food, beverage, or candy associated with it. My personal favorite would be Christmas and the Candy Cane.  I can remember Christmas time as a child and the numerous unending Candy Cane Binges, in which I would have gobs of candy cane stuck to my teeth. The origin of the Candy Cane goes back over 350 years.

It is officially here! The shopping season got underway with a few early deals last night and more happened with the 'Black Friday' frenzy this morning. But if you have not a clue what to buy someone or you have a few extra bucks to spare, here are a few gifts that will have everyone talking after they are opened...

We've all had regrets in our lives, and every once in a while we get the chance to fix the regret.....or just like in the games we used to play as children get a redo!  Well I want a 'Redo' for Christmas past.

Yesterday my wife asked me to go to the store on the way home from work, I forgot that it was just a day before Thanksgiving!  The crowds were horrible, the lines long, the stores understaffed, and people were not polite.
