This year will be the 44th annual International Festival at Elmer Thomas Park in Lawton, Oklahoma. The festival will take place Sept. 22-24 with three days filled with delicious cultural food and diverse entertainment. This year's festival will feature five headline entertainers including Las Altenas Mariachi, The 77th Army Band, Beyond The Pale, Moetown Alex and Extreme Animals.

Lawton's International Festival is free and open to the public!

There's no entry fee to get into the International Festival and there's no parking fees! So this is a perfect festival for families to attend. You not only get to enjoy yummy foods but you'll also learn about other cultures through fun entertainment!

One of the best parts about the International Festival is the food!

When you go to the International Festival, it's best to have an empty stomach! There are rows and rows of food vendors with all kinds of delicious treats. You'll find gyros, Indian tacos, bratwurst, perogies and so much more! Walking through the food vendors and trying foods from different cultures is definitely one of my favorite things about the International Festival.
