Miranda Lambert definitely answers to no one besides Miranda Lambert.

Saturday afternoon (June 14), Lambert's buses and crew began unloading equipment into the Block, a popular Fort Walton Beach nightclub, surprising fans and staff a like with an unannounced stop.

By 2 p.m., the secret was out as Lambert's Airstream bus arrived and she tweeted out to her nearly 4 million followers a photo of her pink travel trailer parked in front of the venue along with the caption, "We were on our way to Jacksonville and decided to stop in Ft. Walton Beach tonight! Come party with us! 9:30 at the Block!"  The line began to form immediately and before too long, it wrapped around the building and down the street. As quickly as the first 700 fans piled in, the Block was filled to capacity for the free concert.

During the set, Lambert began to play a tune from her new album Platinum, "Priscilla," a song obviously about the relationship of Elvis and Priscilla Presley. Before beginning the song, Lambert grinned and said, "This song is also about my husband."  The track had already made headlines when it garnered the attention of the song's namesake, Priscilla Presley, who posted a picture on Instagram along with daughter Lisa Marie sampling the tune saying, "@LisaPresley and I are listening to your song 'Priscilla.' Best of luck with your new album. x Priscilla."

Miranda and her band showcased their versatility on stage, not only shining on their own music, new and old, but also covering music from acts ranging from Led Zepplin to Bryan Adams and The Band to Rod Stewart and The Faces during the 2-hour set.

"We haven't played a good old-fashioned club in a while. That's where we feel at home!" the reigning ACM & CMA Female Vocalist of the Year grinned. Lambert is currently getting ready to head out on a 30-city tour in support of Platinum. The tour, which features guests Justin Moore and Thomas Rhett kicks off July 10 in Fort Loramie, Ohio.
