I recently returned from seven days on the sea for a much needed vacation, and when I got back to Oklahoma, I expected it to be sunny and warm, not rainy and cool! Don't get me wrong, the cool weather was a great welcome home before Memorial Day, and with the rain, I didn't have to worry about my flowers while I was away. And it looks like more rain is on its way to Oklahoma!

What I'm most excited about this week is the temperatures. We'll see temps in the mid 80's this week during day and lows in the 60's in the evening. That's some beautiful weather! I may not be sitting beachside anymore, but I'll definitely be enjoying this weather in the pool and on the patio. It's going to be a great few days outside, but we better enjoy it while it lasts!

Increased rain chances are on tap for Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

It looks like we'll have another weekend of rain! Thursday is when things might start to ramp up again and will continue into the weekend with up to an 80 percent chance of showers. It's too soon to tell if these weekend storms will bring any severe weather, but if it's anything like this past weekend, I'll take it!

When it comes to the topic of tornadoes, Oklahoma is universally known around the world for producing some of the biggest, including the last F6 ever measured... but it'd probably surprise most Okies that the Sooner State doesn't even crack the top five of the most tornado-prone counties in America.
