When it Comes to Happiness – Survey Says We’re Number 6
It is in the movies. We hear it on the radio. It is all over social media. Everyday conversations can create this euphoric feeling.
Americans may cheer about being number one, but a new study reveals we’re actually ranked sixth on a list of happy countries.
The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development’s Better Life Index ranks Australia as the best place to live for the third year in a row. The survey examined a number of factors, including income, jobs, housing, health, life expectancy, safety, and work-life balance. Here is the organization’s ranking of the ten happiest countries in the world:
6. United States
10. United Kingdom
So does it make you feel any better knowing we’re in the top ten but not the top 5? Would it make you more happy if the United States was in the top 3?
