The nominees in the 2017 iHeartRadio Music Awards include some of the biggest stars in contemporary country music.

Carrie Underwood, Thomas Rhett, Jason Aldean and Keith Urban are among the superstars nominated for the biggest country categories, with Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Blake Shelton and Cole Swindell scoring additional nods in all-genre categories including Male Artist, Best Duo/ Group and Best Lyrics.

The latter category is socially voted, and there's also a brand-new Best New Country Artist category as part of the awards this year.

Drake leads the nominations across all genres in 2017 with 12, with the Chainsmokers right behind him with 11. Bruno Mars has already been announced as a performer for the show, with more performers and details still to be announced.

The 2017 iHeartRadio Music Awards are set to broadcast live from the Forum in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 5 at 8PM ET on TBS, TNT and truTV. The awards show will simulcast on iHeartMedia stations nationwide, as well as on iHeartRadio.
