1990   A Night At The Opry

Garth Brooks joins the Grand Ole Opry, and Alan Jackson makes his first appearance on the show. Brooks', who was inducted by country legend Johnny Russell, had a set list for the momentous occasion which featured his #1 single at the time "Friends In Low Places" as well as "If Tomorrow Never Comes" and "The Dance".

This was Jackson's first appearance on the Opry stage, but it wasn't his first trip to the Opry however. When he first came to Nashville, "AJ" got a job with the U.S. Postal Service and part of his route include the Grand Ole Opry. Jackson would become an official member of the Opry on July 7, 1991; he was nominated by Roy Acuff and inducted by Randy Travis.
