A good time for children of all ages will be found this weekend at the Comanche County Fairgrounds, site of the 59th annual Lawton Noon Lions Club Carnival, which will kick-off today and run through Sunday.

World renowned carnival company Murphy Brothers Carnivals will be providing the rides and games, featuring 15 thrilling rides this year. All-time favorites including Genesis, Cliffhanger and Kamikaze are back, and this year's Carnival will also feature , 7 rides new to Lawton. The carnival will also include game and food booths, including the ever popular Lion's food trailer. Everything from chili dogs to funnel cakes, nachos to frito pies will be cooked up this weekend.

You can purchase your 'Mega Ride' Armband in advance for $35 at local City National Bank locations, Jennifer Robinette AAA Insurance at 1924 NW Cache Rd, or on-line at lionscarnival.com, or $40 at the carnival. The armband allows you to ride all of the attractions for the entirety of the carvnival. New this year, you can purchase the Family Pack, which include 50 $1 single ride tickets and a souvenir stuffed animal, along with a chance to win more ride tickets. The family pack costs $50. You can also purchase additional ride tickets to compliment your family pack at $1 each. Rides vary from 3 to 6 tickets per ride. Family packs can also be purchased in advance on-line.
