Afroman's Freedom Of Speech Tour Stops At Kochendorfer Brewery

One of the songs that defined the millennial generation was "Because I Got High" by Afroman. It was one of the songs you had to have on your iPod, undoubtably downloaded from LimeWire. And this August, millennials in southwest Oklahoma will have a chance to see Afroman himself life when he performs at Kochendorfer Brewery in Duncan.

Afroman will bring his 2026 Freedom of Speech Tour to Kochendorfer Brewery in Duncan on Monday, August 10. Doors will open at 7 p.m. The opening entertainment will begin at 8 a.m. and starting at 10 p.m. Afroman will perform on the brewery's outdoor stage.

Yes, millennials, the concert won't actually start until well after our bedtime on a Monday. But it's worth it to hear nostalgic classics, like "Because I Got High," "Crazy Rap (Colt 45 & Two ZigZags)" and "Lemon Pound Cake."

Tickets cost $75 to see Afroman at Kochendorfer Brewery in Duncan.

Tickets to see Afroman at Kochendorfer Brewery in Duncan are available to purchase online at $75. Tickets are all-inclusive, which means each ticketholder will receive VIP admission with Meet and Greet.

Kochendorfer Brewery is also offering table reservations for six at $150. Table reservations include table service and pitcher of beer. Event tickets must be purchased individually.

The brewery will have its craft beer, local wine, and sodas available for purchase during the concert. A food truck will also be on site.

Earlier this year, Afroman reentered the public spotlight when a jury sided with him in a defamation case filed by seven Ohio sheriff deputies. In August 2022, twelve deputies raided his Ohio home on suspicions of drug trafficking and kidnapping, but the search did not result in any evidence against him.

In response to the incident, Afroman included raps in his 2023 album "Lemon Pound Cake" that featured tracks like "The Police Raid," "Why You Disconnecting My Video Camera" and "Will You Help Me Repair My Door." Music videos for the songs featured home surveillance footage from the raid. Memes and sold merchandise were also used to satirize the incident and those involved, which lead to the seven deputies to file a lawsuit against the rapper.

On March 19, the jury sided with Afroman after a three-day trial. Shortly after the verdict was read, Afroman released the song "RANDY WALTERS IS A SON OF A *****," which he recorded at Tulsa's historic The Church Studio.
