Boy Who Died From Brain Tumor Gets Emotional Superhero Funeral
Most funerals bring out mourners dressed all in black, but Brayden Denton’s funeral wasn’t most funerals.
The Indiana boy died earlier this month at the age of five after battling a brain tumor. Since he was a huge Spider-Man fan and superheroes in general, his family decided to hold a superhero funeral, with the pallbearers even getting dressed up as popular characters.
Brayden’s uncle showed up as Thor:
It was hard, but I did it for him. We went to the Superman movie with him and he was dressed up as Superman. I watched all the Iron Man [movies] with him.”
Brayden’s mom says the funeral is “what Brayden would have wanted.”
