Brad Paisley has been showered with countless industry awards for his platinum-selling albums, but 2012 looks to go down as Paisley’s year of the “daddy.” The devoted husband and father-of-two has awarded the honor of “Country Big Daddy,” according to Country Weekly. Congrats, Brad!

The ‘Camouflage’ singer beat out pals and fellow fathers Keith Urban, Tim McGraw, Trace Adkins and Darius Rucker in the country music category, which honors fathers in a campaign to support prostate cancer awareness. The ‘On the Line’ campaign held its first annual Big Daddy Awards to celebrate the 70 million fathers in America, raising funds for prostate cancer programs and research for a cure.

When it comes to his daddy duties, Paisley admits he already has his hands full with his two sons, Huck, 5, and Jasper, 3. “I don’t know what kind of cave man these kids turn into, but it sort of starts really early,” Paisley says in both his son’s early interest in country cuties Carrie Underwood and Kimberly Perry of the Band Perry.

“[He] bought me flowers, wrote me a note, showed me karate moves and stuff,” Underwood has admitted, speaking of Paisley’s 5-year-old son.

Though Paisley took home country’s supreme devoted dad title, the singer lost the “Biggest Daddy of them All” title to actor, philanthropist and father-of-six Brad Pitt.

When Paisley isn’t at home tending to his family duties, the superstar is on the road this summer with his Virtual Reality headlining tour. Click here for tour dates and ticket information.
