Today we focus on a singer and songwriter from Illinois, an artist who has had four straight number 1 hits, 3 from his debut album.

Brett Eldredge got his first break in Nashville in 2009, when Gary Allan recorded Brett's song ""I Think I've Had Enough" for his Get Off On The Pain album. Eldridge would soon after sign with Atlantic Records, and in 2010 would release his first single "Raymond", which would peak at #24 on the Billboard country chart.

A second single, "It Ain't Gotta Be Love" failed to break the top-40, and would be mysteriously absent when Eldredge's debut album, Bring You Back, was released in 2013. The album would feature Brett's first top-20 hit, "Don't Ya" which would also become his first #1; it also featured the number 1 hits "Beat Of The Music" and "Mean To Me".

Exposure as the opening act on Taylor Swift's Red tour definitely benefited Eldredge. His debut album has been certified gold by the RIAA and it built anticipation for a follow-up album. The lead single from that follow album, "Lose My Mind" recently became Brett's fourth consecutive #1 hit. The album, Illinois debuted in the #1 slot on the country charts and it's second single is in the spotlight today. "Drunk On Your Love", the latest from Brett Eldredge is today's Catch of the Day, new music you haven't heard, but you'll want to hear it again.
