Dylan Scott's story is the story of a boy who grew up in the family business and followed in his father's footsteps. Born and raised in rural northeast Louisiana, 15 minutes from the nearest town, that being Bastrop, Scott grew up hunting, fishing and playing ball. His father was a musician, Freddy Fender's guitar player, so country music was always a part of Dylan's life. There were plenty of stories of life on the road and in Nashville, painting a dream of the dream world in the youngster's head.

Dylan's first experience in Nashville came when he was 15 years old, making the trip with his dad and a couple of members of the band. They visited the Ryman Auditorium and visited the legendary Music Row. The youngster was intimidated by the visit, but at the same time found himself fascinated. It would be on this trip where Dylan would also meet the man who would become, and still is his manage. in 2010, at age 19 Scott would sign with Curb Records, and begin work on recording his debut project. He assembled a literal 'band of brothers', his brother Logan on lead guitar, and Garrett and Darrick Cline on bass drums. The band his stuck together through the 2014 EP Makin' This Boy Go Crazy, which featured his debut single, the title track, which peaked at #54 and his self-titled 2016 debut album.
