Cody Johnson Pays Respect to Victims of Santa Fe Mass Shooting with Moment of Silence
Last Friday morning (May 18), an armed 17-year-old student attacked his classmates in Santa Fe High School opening fire in an art class.
When it was all said and done, the gunman killed 10 people and wounded at least 10 others, including a school resource officer who was left in critical condition, police said, before surrendering to the officers who confronted him, according to the Washington Post.
That night in concert Cody Johnson, an East Texas native, stopped down his concert to pay respect to the children and resource officer who were murdered that morning.
"You could hear a pen drop," wrote Destiney Pate who posted the video. "One of the many reasons I love and respect Cody Johnson! prayers for everyone involved and impacted by the Santa Fe school shooting!"
