Coco Chanel said it well when she said, "A woman with good shoes is never ugly." Females in country music are always trying to look their best, and fancy footwear helps them reach their fashion A-game.

Whether they're stepping out to an awards show, performing a sold-out show or attending a big party, our favorite ladies put their best foot forward. Take, for example, Faith Hill, who rocked a simply studded pair of pumps at a Grammy Awards show, or an actress-turned-singer who celebrated the hundredth episode of her TV show with a strappy heel.

But it was this week's fashion diva who donned a gold crocodile right in the middle of her heel. She may consider a hockey star her soulmate, but these shoes are definitely the blonde's sole mate. See some of the best shoes in the business in this brand new edition of Taste of Style.

At the 55th Annual Grammy Awards, Hill showed up wearing some of her best shoes yet. The sexy singer showed up in a sexy LBD (little black dress) alongside her hot hubby, Tim McGraw. Surprisingly, her handsome man wasn't her best accessory at the awards show.

Hill wore a stunning pair of shiny black patent leather heels, and we were in shoe heaven! The songstress paired her black J. Mendel dress with the perfect pair of Tom Ford closed toe pumps. They may look simple, but the gold stud details down the back and heel make them to-die-for. It's ok to have shoe envy ... we do!

Kacey Musgraves

What says country girl more than spurs? Kacey Musgraves used her Instagram account to show off a pair of heels with a Southern flair -- just like the singer herself. 'The Trailer Song' starlet showcased her spectacular closed-toe heels with a fitting hashtag: #yeehaw.

The sky-high tan heels remind us of our favorite farm animal, the Palomino horse. The heels may look tame, but the reflective gold panels match their best asset -- the spurs. They're perfect for a farm girl who knows how to milk a cow ... while wearing stilettos (ok, ok, maybe she's just going out on the town in these).

Miranda Lambert was 'Hell on Heels' at the 2014 CMT Awards. When she joined Carrie Underwood on stage for 'Somethin' Bad,' it was hard to focus on anything else other than the beautiful blonde's thigh-high kicks.

Lambert wore a boot of sorts for the performance. The heels came nearly to her knee and made her look like a Roman Gladiator vixen strutting in the Coliseum. Her black Alejandro Ingelmo heels were accented by gold throughout and matched her black and gold dress to a T. We weren't the only ones smitten by the shoes -- her stylist Tiffany Gifford wrote on her Instagram account that she was "slightly obsessed" with the outfit, including those killer heels.

Actress-turned-singer Lucy Hale stepped up her shoe game to celebrate the 100th episode of her hit show, 'Pretty Little Liars.' The singer, who plays Aria Montgomery on the popular series, sported a marvelous pair of maroon stiletto sandals to commemorate an important event.

Hale donned a maroon pair of pseudo snake skin stilettos to celebrate the event alongside the rest of the 'liars.' Her ankle-strap sandals kept her outfit simple, while also adding a wow factor to her midriff baring outfit.

Fashion Diva of the Week - Carrie Underwood

Underwood has found her sole mate in a pair of gold crocodile sandals (sorry, Mike Fisher!). At the 2014 Billboard Music Awards, the 31-year-old singer put her very best foot forward. She may have looked gorgeous absolutely all over, but who could take their eyes off of those reptilian sandals?!

While Underwood proudly showed off her big gold award, she also showed off one subtle, yet stylish, piece of her outfit. The songstress wore a pair of stiletto sandals with a thin black satin strap that may have been quite plain ... except for the big gold crocodile bijoux and 120mm heel. A little above the singer's toes began a gold croc's tail, which led up to her ankle and the croc's face. These were a unique play on the typical t-strap sandal, and the Giuseppe Zanotti shoes really made the 'Before He Cheats' singer's complete.
