Craig Campbell and his wife, Mindy, are going into the coffee business. The couple announced plans to open a new coffee shop called Grindstone Cowboy in their hometown of Eagleville, Tenn., on April 30.

As the only drive-thru coffee shop within 20 minutes of Campbell's home, the new shop will serve coffee roasted by Frothy Monkey, and an in-house baker will provide fresh baked goods. Additionally, the shop will serve as a restaurant, bar and music venue. Soups and sandwiches will be available for lunch and customers can also enjoy coffee cocktails and beer. Campbell plans to host nightly concerts, writer's rounds, karaoke nights and other musical events. The space will also be available to rent for parties.

"Mindy and I share the love of coffee and music, and this has been a dream of ours for a long time," Campbell says in a press release. "We love this community and want this to be a welcoming place for our friends, neighbors and visitors to have a great cup of coffee, good fellowship, wonderful music and maybe a drink or two."

Grindstone Cowboy is housed in a historic building on 115 North Main Street in Eagleville. Campbell and his family — including daughters Preslee and Kinni Rose —completely renovated the building for the new shop. Part of the renovations included redoing the floor, which comes from a theater stage from the Tennessee Performing Arts Center.

"Every step of this project has involved our entire family, because we are all invested in this dream," the singer's wife, Mindy Campbell, says. "This has been a huge labor of love, and we’re excited for April 30 to get here!"

The shop will open with a full-day grand opening celebration. Kicking off at 8AM, the day will feature family-friendly events, live music courtesy of Jason Sturgeon and Campbell and plenty of coffee. The shop will be open Monday through Friday from 6AM to 4PM and Saturday from 8AM to 3PM. It will be closed on Sundays.

In addition to planning the opening of Grindstone Cowboy, Campbell has been on his Craig Campbell Tour, by God since the end of February. That run wraps on May 21 in Hartford, Ohio.
