
Support Local Seniors With The Library Fundraiser Starting March 3
If you can't wait till the Lawton Public Library's annual Book Sale this April, then you can support another nonprofit in Lawton by buying used books from the Center For Creative Living this March!
The Center For Creative Living offers a space for social, physical and intellectual engagement for seniors aged 55 and older in Lawton. The center will host a Library Fundraiser this month, and will kick off on Tuesday, March 3.
The Center For Creative Living will have used books, puzzles and more for sale.
For the fundraiser, the Center For Creative Living will allow visitors to purchase anything from the center's library. That's right. Everything in the center's library is up for sale!
Visitors can browse the center's entire library, and could go home with used books, puzzles and DVDs. Hardback books will be available for $5, softcover books for $3, 1,000 piece puzzles for $5, 500 piece puzzles for $2.50, and DVDs for $2.
All funds will go to benefitting the Center For Creative Living.

The Center For Creative Living has been in Lawton since 1981.
The Center For Creative Living first opened in Lawton in 1981. The center provides free activities for local seniors, including exercise classes, arts and crafts, games, reading, workshops, informative programs, and lunch.
According to its website, "the mission of the Center For Creative Living is to enrich the lives of senior citizens by fostering inclusive social support networks that combat isolation and promote community engagement."
