Crystal Gayle ‘Don’t it Make My Brown Eyes Blue’ KLAW Classic [VIDEO]

Today's KLAW Classic is from Crystal Gayle and come from 35 years ago today.  In a 2004 CMT Interview, Cystal Gayle said that songwriter Richard Leight wrote the song because he had a dog with one brown eye and one blue eye.  The song was recorded in basically one take.  All parts were fromt the original session with the exception of the strings that producer Allen Reynolds added later.  Here's today's KLAW Classic 'Don't it Make My Brown Eyes Blue'.
