Did You Know that Shel Silvertsein Wrote Country Songs? [VIDEO]

Shel Silverstein is a name that most people recognize as being a cartoonist for Playboy Magazine, a Children's Book Author who's works have been translated into 30 languages, and sold more that 20 million copies.But, I was not aware until just now that he was also an accomplished lyricist and song writer of country songs.

Some of Silverstein's noteworthy songs include most songs of Dr. Hook, Tompall Glaser's 'Put Another Log on the Fire', 'Hey Loretta' and today's KLAW Classic, 'One's on the Way'.
