Routes To Lawton's East Side
For those traveling to and from Lawton's east side that wish to avoid the construction have two alternate routes to choose from. Lawton residents can get to and from the east side by traveling on NE Rogers Lane or Gore Boulevard, which received pedestrian bridge work by ODOT in 2024.
ODOT completed its pedestrian bridge project along Gore Boulevard over I-44. The project began in July of 2024 and was completed in January 2025. During the nearly six months of construction, Lawton residents experienced lane closures, slow speed limits and travel delays. Now that the pedestrian bridge is complete, drivers and pedestrians can travel safely to and from Lawton's east side via Gore Boulevard.
