A Texas College Now Has a Buc-ee’s Store on Campus
Imagine after a long day at class being able to walk on campus and grab some Beaver Nuggets. One Texas college has bragging rights for this school year and it's the first of it's kind in the country.
One of the only complaints people have about Buc-ee's is the fact that people only get their iconic snacks during a road trip. Buc-ee's is expanding like crazy across the country. For the vast majority of folks, Buc-ee's is a nice pit stop on a long road trip. Well one college now has a 'mini' Buc-ee's on campus and it's definitely a crazy addition no one saw coming.
Buc-ee's Now Selling Their Snacks at Texas A&M
For the first time ever, 45 different Buc-ee's snacks are now available somewhere other than a Buc-ee's Travel Center. Things like Beaver Nuggets, signature beef jerky, Buc-ee's exclusive candy will all be available at these shops around campus. Buc-ee's also known for their merchandise, like cups and beaver stuffed animals, will also be available as well.
Where Can You Find the Buc-ee's Snacks on Texas A&M's Campus?
- Aggie Express Commons
- Aggie Express Hullabaloo
- Creekside Market
Faculty, students, and most importantly for the rest of us. Visitors will be allowed to buy the Buc-ee's snacks at these three locations on campus. You maybe asking yourself, 'Why did Buc-ee's choose Texas A&M to try this out at?'
Buc-ee's CEO and Founder is a Texas A&M Graduate
That man in the Cowboy hat is Arch “Beaver” Aplin III. You may know him as the CEO and founder of the popular travel centers around Texas. He's also a part of the Texas A&M class of 1980. “As an Aggie, it’s incredibly special to bring Buc-ee’s to the heart of the campus,” said Arch. 'We’re thrilled to share a little piece of Buc-ee’s with the Aggie Family every day.”
Safe to say I don't think the University of Texas at Austin will be getting a Buc-ee's like this anytime soon, but Aggies fans have bragging rights on this for sure.
