$1 Million Texas Lottery Scratch Ticket Sold in Denton

Every time I write about someone winning the lottery, I wonder just how much money they lost over the years on lottery tickets. I figure most people lose more than they win when all is said and done. But it’s hard to imagine someone spending more than $1 million on lottery tickets in their lifetime.

I realize keeping up with how much you’ve lost over the years is probably the last thing a gambler wants to do. Because if they did, they would probably stop gambling. I mean, that’s why I rarely ever do it. For me, putting money in a slot machine or buying a lottery ticket is like throwing it in the trash.

The winning ticket was purchased at S & B Store #2, located at 1918 N. Carroll Blvd., in Denton. 

There are two $1 million jackpots that have yet to be claimed in the $1,000,000 Cas$h game. Additionally, 22 $5,000 prizes are remaining in the game. The odds of winning a prize are one in 3.99, including break-even prizes

Aside from awarding billions of dollars in prizes to players since its inception in 1992, the Texas Lottery has also given billions of dollars to support education in the Lone Star State, as well as Texas veterans.
