Kelsea Ballerini took the stage on the Late Late Show with James Corden on Tuesday night (April 10), and she could have simply sung her latest single, "I Hate Love Songs."

Instead, she threw in a twist.

As the sweet song was reaching its emotional conclusion, Ballerini threw in a new lyric, singing: “I hate love songs, but Corden, I love you.”

Yes, the British talk show host was smitten — heck, the whole audience was smitten with the Tennessee native, as Ballerini seemingly had the entire audience right in her diamond-bearing hands, looking downright angelic in a blush colored Hayley Paige tuxedo dress that made her tan skin sparkle. Paired with her Sophia Webster stilettos and a voice that has changed the face of country music, Ballerini's latest performance helps cement her place as one of country music’s brightest stars.

Does Kelsea Really Hate Love Songs?

This star power will be displayed next in Las Vegas, as Ballerini will join her country music counterparts for a slew of ACM Awards festivities, including the inaugural ACM Workout for a Cause: Erin Oprea Unleased Tour. Then, on Sunday (April 15), the ACM Female Vocalist of the Year and ACM Video of the Year nominee ("Legends") will take the stage again to perform live.

From there, Ballerini will embark on her last leg of the Unapologetically Tour before heading out with Keith Urban for the Graffiti U World Tour. That run will kick off June 15 at Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in St. Louis, Mo., and run through November 3 at American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.
