Kids Cancer Alliance Gets Boost Thanks To Jake Owen

Jake Owen with a little help from his friends recently performed in Kentucky for a worthy cause, Kids Cancer Alliance.  This is a non-profit organization founded in 1981 provides a viable camping experience for kids with cancer in the Kentucky area. 

Concert for the Cause a special show at the Ice House in Louisville, was hosted by Jake and joined by Frankie Ballard and Jana Kramer as well as several other country musicians. The acoustic concert also was supported by a silent auction. The event raised over $200,000 for the foundation, the money will be used to offer oncology and sibling camps also teen and family retreats. They also provide in hospital programs and give financial support to families of the children affected by cancer.
