First Baptist Church Lawton Will Present Its Living Christmas Tree This Weekend
One of Lawton's holiday traditions is the Living Christmas Tree presented by First Baptist Lawton! This year's presentation will take place December 11, 12 and 13 at the church in downtown Lawton.
The Living Christmas Tree features thousands of lights synced to music sung by a 100 piece choir that sings within a 39-foot constructed Christmas tree! Plus the performance features a live, full orchestra and actors. All of this combined tells the story and celebrates the reason for the season!
This year's Living Christmas Tree performance is 'Joy to the World.'
This year is the 44th annual Living Christmas Tree celebration at First Baptist Lawton. Every year the performance is different but the message is always the same! This year's Living Christmas Tree performance is "Joy to the World," which "is a multicultural celebration of Christmas—seen through the eyes of families across the globe."
"Joy to the World" will feature classic Christmas carols and some new songs that inspire "hope, love, and unity."
