Join The Pickle Craze At Lawton Farmers Market This Weekend

Pickle-lovers will want to make sure they go to the Lawton Farmers Market this weekend because it's the market's annual Pickle Fest! Saturday's market will be filled with all things pickles, from canned pickles to pickle popcorn and pickle crafts, this event is what pickle dreams are made of.

The Lawton Farmers Market's Pickle Fest will take place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, August 9 at the market, located at 77 SW 4th Street in downtown Lawton. The festival will feature pickle contests, like pickling of sour and sweet pickles, plus pickled veggies and relish.

Be crowned pickle royalty at the Lawton Farmers Market's Pickle Fest!

The Lawton Farmers Market will also crown its Pickle King and Pickle Queen during Pickle Fest! The pickle royalty is chosen based on a pickle eating contest. Whoever eats the most pickles in a certain about of time will be crowned!

The Lawton Farmers Market is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday at its brick and mortar building in downtown Lawton. After Pickle Fest, the market has a few more events coming up through the rest of the year.
