Luke Bryan Visits the Boardwalk Performing ‘Roller Coaster’ at 2014 CMAs [VIDEO]

Country’s leading man Luke Bryan brought the roller coaster to the stage, both literally and figuratively, during the 2014 CMA Awards.

The set itself featured a partial replica of an actual wooden coaster behind the singer and his band, creating an impressive backdrop to the story Bryan was telling. Combined with the passion and emotion Bryan infused into his performance, the audience was indeed taken on a ride.

The band and Bryan shared an intimate set-up that gave the performance a stripped down feel, though it was still full band. The fans even got to join in when Bryan pointed the mic toward the crowd and let them sing a few lines. Bryan’s delivery of the song was authentic and made for a great performance.
