Week 3: MacArthur Highlanders take on the Eisenhower Eagles

Week 3 for your MacArthur Highlanders was not just another game. By no means!!..A win over the Eisenhower Eagles would not only make Big Mac 3-0 in the early part of the season but for these seniors a first City Championship and the Generals Trophy making a trip back up to the Hill after leaving in 2008.

After a sluggish 1st quarter the Highlanders found themselves down early 6-0 at the end of the first quarter. Ever so poised and not panicked the Eagles awoke the sleeping giant Highlanders with the help of returning wide reciever Aaron Finley and the hard running of Darius Graham the Highlanders are indeed City Champions in a 24-9 win over west side rival Eisenhower.

This week the Highlanders start District play on the road for the first time this season as they travel to Ardmore. Game time is set for this Friday night at 7:30 We will go on the air here on KLAW and online at 7:00 if you cant make it in person Steve and I will bring you all the action.
