Quick, what does Jimmy Swaggart, small airplanes, and a country honky tonk have in common? The answer is the artist for today's KLAW Classic.

Mickey Gilley is the cousin of Jerry Lee Lewis and Jimmy Swaggart.  In fact, Gilley first learned to play the piano with Swaggart.  The played boogie woogie and gospel together.  According the FAA, Gilley holds a pilot's license as well.  Gilley's is also the name of a honky tonk made famous by the movie 'Urban Cowboy'.

Today's KLAW Classic is the 14th in a string of number ones for Gilley. Here's 'Put Your Dreams Away' Number one on this day in 1982.
