Miranda Lambert says she'll release new music in June, and don't expect her to hold back on anything.

"I'm happy and I'm healthy, and I’m ready to kick ass again," Lambert told the Tennessean after rehearsal for her 2019 ACM Awards performance. The singer married Brenan Mcloughlin in January, and it's fair to wonder if we'll get a taste of her relationship with the NYPD officer when new music drops.

"I feel like I'm taking some risks and not being afraid," the country hitmaker and Pistol Annies member says. "I'm going into fearless mode musically and heart-wise. I feel like they go hand-in-hand. I'm jumping out there and taking risks, and I feel good about it. I'm going in and we're making it, and we're putting it out as fast as we can."

Miranda Lambert, New Husband Make Red Carpet Debut:

Since new music isn't totally ready, Lambert performed a medley of five of her hits at the ACMs, including "Kerosene," "Gunpowder and Lead," "Mama’s Broken Heart" and more.

"I am a female artist in this genre that has fought my way, and this medley is a reminder of the last 14 years of music. It's 14 years of milestones and songs that pushed me to a new level in business," she explains. "People have to remember a hit isn't a position on a chart, it's what people sing along to."

Fans will likely get to hear new music on her upcoming all-female Roadside Bars & Pink Guitars Tour when it kicks off this September. Lambert will be supported by Maren Morris, Elle King, her own Pistol Annies, Tenille Townes, Ashley McBryde and/or Caylee Hammack on select dates.

She thinks it may be the best tour she's ever done.

"We have three new women, and I feel like we can all learn from each other. The younger ones have such fire in their eyes, and they're so hungry and that’s good for me to see every day," Lambert says, "And hopefully I can teach them something about being a vet out here."
