Most Unusually Common Injuries By State Feature Some Real Head Scratchers

We all hurt every now and then. Some of us just hurt in different places.

Amino, a company that helps people find the appropriate doctor, has come out with a list of each state's unusually common injuries. That is, strange injuries that tend to happen more often in one states compared to others.

Most of them aren't too bizarre, but a few states caught our eye. Overexertion in North Dakota and Nebraska? What does that even mean? Have we just gotten too fat that pulling a groin while getting off the couch counts as "overexertion? Facial injury in Louisiana and Washington, D.C.? Are those plastic surgery procedures done by a guy in a van that go terribly and predictably wrong? Suffocation in a smattering of states that border each other out west? Is there a serial killer we haven't heard about?
