Now that most people truly feel we're past the pandemic and building towards recovery... even with the economy in the current state it's in... there is some good news for Oklahoma. Several new and classic restaurants may be eyeing the Sooner State for expansion in the near future.

Personally, I'm looking forward to the pizza joints. My local Cici's Pizza closed in 2020, and there hasn't been a $5 lunch option since. Also, considering taste over price, Mazzio's is starting to experience a resurgence too. I've seen four new locations spring up across Northern and Northeastern Oklahoma in the last few months - mainly as gas station add-ons, but good pizza is good pizza.
