Most people tune in to the Thanksgiving parade as they prepare for a day of full bellies and giving thanks. But before those giant inflatables take over New York City, you can enjoy some great Oklahoma Christmas parades live and in person before you even carve the turkey on Thanksgiving.
Several of Oklahoma's communities mark the holiday season with magical Christmas parades. Some of them even take place before Thanksgiving. So we put together a list of the top 10 Christmas parades to not miss in Oklahoma. Some of them are in Oklahoma's larger cities other celebrate Oklahoma's small town charm. And there are few unique ones that take place on water and in the middle of a stockyard.

One of the earliest Christmas parades in Oklahoma will take place in Lawton on Saturday, Nov. 16. The annual Holiday In the Park parade will kick-off the holiday season in Lawton. Before the parade, residents can take part in the Frost Your Fanny 5K before the parade. This year's parade theme will be Candyland.
