Cyril was chosen as an Oklahoma Senior Games Fitness Challenge site because of its positive impacts in rural communities.
Cyril is the only small rural community the Oklahoma Senior Games will host a Fitness Challenge. Other locations include Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Stillwater, Edmond, Weatherford, Norman, Woodward, and Okmulgee.
Kathleen Fitzgerald, executive director of the Oklahoma Senior Games, said Cyril was chosen as a Fitness Challenge site due to The Refinery's positive impact on its small rural community.
