Oklahoma Sooners To Honor Toby Keith With Quarter Break Sing-Along
Earlier this year, Oklahoma lost one of its great country music legends - Toby Keith. From Moore, Oklahoma, Toby Keith was chart-topping country singer and an Okie through and through. He was arguably the biggest University of Oklahoma fan, and the Sooners will honor him with a quarter break sing-along this football season.
On Monday, August 26, the University of Oklahoma unveiled its fan experience enhancements for the 2024 football season. One of the enhancements includes a Toby Keith sing-along during the break between the third and fourth quarters.
According to the announcement, the sing-along break will be a Toby Keith Tribute.
The Toby Keith Tribute 3rd/4th quarter break will celebrate the Oklahoma icon, giving 85,000 fans the opportunity to sing along with the legendary Sooner super fan.
As of Wednesday, August 28, the University of Oklahoma has not revealed what song Sooner fans will be singing along to during the break between the third and fourth quarter.
