One of my favorite Thanksgiving traditions is waking up to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. I'm sure that's what most of us will be doing this Thanksgiving as we prepare for a day of full bellies and giving thanks. But you can enjoy some great Oklahoma Christmas parades live and in person before you even carve the turkey on Thanksgiving, so here's a list of the top 10 Christmas parades in Oklahoma.

My family and I love a good parade, especially a Christmas parade filled with bright lights and holiday cheer. Lawton looks like it will kick off the holiday season the earliest with its Holiday In the Park Parade on Saturday, November 18.

I was honored to host last year's Christmas parade once again! The whole town always has a great time at this parade, and it's huge! Last year's parade had over a hundred entries! It started in downtown Lawton, near Central Plaza, and made its way to Elmer Thomas Park where citizens got to enjoy Lawton's Holiday in the Park. This time of year truly is magical.
