Oklahoma City Thunder Featured In ‘Jurassic World: Rebirth’ Ad
In April, most Oklahomans were too concerned about the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA Playoffs. But now that the Thunder are world champions, Oklahomans can resume leisure activities, like going to the movies. A few months ago, "Jurassic World: Rebirth" issued a 30 second ad featuring "The Gilgeousaurus," a giant SGA that dribbles between titanosauruses and dunks on Jurassic Park's tallest peaks.
"Jurassic World: Rebirth" hit theaters on July 2 and focuses on some of the largest dinosaurs as their DNA could prove medical miracles to humankind. But when the ad featuring SGA was released, it was before the Thunder won the championship and before SGA claimed the Finals MVP and the scoring title.
Leading up to the final games, SGA and the team credited the roar of the Oklahoma City Thunder fans in Loud City gave them the push they needed to clinch the title earlier this month.
Check out the 'Jurassic World: Rebirth' ad featuring SGA.
The "Jurassic World: Rebirth" ad with SGA starts out introducing "The Gilgeousaurus," and the characters played by Jonathan Bailey and Scarlett Johansson are confused by the creature before they stumble upon him on the island that formerly housed Jurassic Park.
They see a gigantic SGA come through the trees from behind the mountains and watch him dribble between two titanosauruses. He gives a little roar to the character played by Mahershala Ali before he dunks on one of the island's highest peaks.
