Elmer Thomas Park

The Lawton City Council had both old business and new on its docket Tuesday night, as it gathered for its bi-monthly meeting.

Armed Forces Day is on Saturday, May 19th and the City of Lawton has planned fun activities for everyone to enjoy the Nation's Biggest Armed Forces Appreciation Day. The parade will take place at Elmer Thomas Park.

Lake Helen at Elmer Thomas Park is located at 6th and Ferris Avenue in Lawton, OK. The lake is small, but offers plenty of opportunities to spend time with your family.

Holiday in the Park will kick off the holiday season in the Lawton/Fort Sill community this Saturday. Events have been planned all day in Elmer Thomas Park. Fishing for the Food Bank gets underway at 8am.  Arrive at the park early so you can get registered and cast your line early...

The Cops and Kids Picnic was held at Elmer Thomas Park on September 10th.  It is a yearly event sponsored by the Lawton Police Department.  The picnic allows kids to interact with local police officers and come to know them as their friend and protector rather than their enemy.
