Here's some great news for those with kids or those who are kids at heart. Toys R Us is returning to Oklahoma just in time for the 2022 holiday shopping season! That's right, everyone's favorite toy store is back and yes that includes our friend Geoffrey the giraffe.

Yesterday my wife asked me to go to the store on the way home from work, I forgot that it was just a day before Thanksgiving!  The crowds were horrible, the lines long, the stores understaffed, and people were not polite.

I am not a fan of stores being open on Thanksgiving Day and I am sure the heck not going to go out on the Friday after Thanksgiving to do any shopping. I leave that to the crazy bargain hunters. (Personally, I value my life!) Black Friday may be the busiest day to shop during the holiday season, but is that really the best day to shop?
