From the Lawton Police Department Facebook Page: "Please be advised that the Lawton Police Department has received another call on an ongoing scam in Lawton. The caller states that he/she is from Publishers Clearing House and that the winner has won 5 million dollars or any other amount.

The Cops and Kids Picnic was held at Elmer Thomas Park on September 10th.  It is a yearly event sponsored by the Lawton Police Department.  The picnic allows kids to interact with local police officers and come to know them as their friend and protector rather than their enemy.
