It's back, Lawton's RV, Boat, and Outdoor Leisure Show returns to the Comanche County Fairgrounds this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, February 11th through the 13th. Even better from what it's looking like Mother Nature is going to be somewhat cooperative. We'll be seeing temperatures around the mid-'50s and lower-'60s throughout the weekend. It's going to be a great time so make plans now to attend the show.

The Lawton RV, Boat, and Outdoor Leisure Show is sponsored by Fort Sill Federal Credit Union and Oklahoma State Parks. It's just $5.00 for adults and kids 12 and under get in FREE. You can get a special BOGO (buy one get one) coupon at Fort SIll Federal Credit Union or stop by RV Connection. The show will be open on Friday (02-11-22) from 11:00-am to 7:00-pm, Saturday (02-12-22) from 10:00-am until 8:00-pm and Sunday (02-13-22) from 12:00-pm to 5:00-pm. So you'll have plenty of time to stop by and check everything out.

You'll see all the latest and greatest models of RV's, boats, watercraft, camping trailers, and all kinds of other cool outdoor leisure items like fishing gear, camping gear, and a whole lot more. Usually, there are made-in Oklahoma vendors set us as well so you can shop for some homegrown products, food, and Sooner State treasures. I know at the last Lawton RV, Boat, and Outdoor Leisure Show I got some amazing beef jerky, homemade salsa, complete with chips, along with some made in Oklahoma bowls and containers.

After being cooped up in the house for the past couple of weeks thanks to Mother Nature's moodiness it'll be nice to get out and do something for a change. Plus, get geared up and ready for warmer weather and all the Spring/Summer outdoor plans. If you're needing more information about Lawton's RV, Boat, and Outdoor Leisure Show you can visit the official website by clicking here. Looking forward to it and hopefully, some more Oklahoma homemade jerky, hot sauces and salsa. I can't wait, we'll see you there!

Across the Sooner State in every town, city, and rural community you'll find hilarious streets and roads with some of the most bizarre names you can think of. When they were named, more than likely years ago, I'm sure no one thought they would be considered crazy or funny at the time. Well, times have changed! Now some of these street names had to be deliberately named by someone with a great sense of humor. At least in my opinion anyway.
