The Trailer Released for the Movie of Oklahoma’s Infamous Serial Killer
Oklahoma was a buzz in 2021 & 2022 over the filming of Martin Scorsese's adaptation of the best-selling book Killers of the Flower Moon.
Hollywood flooded into tiny little Osage County towns like Pawhuska and Fairfax, dumping tons of dirt to reestablish period-correct dirt roads, historic downtown, etc... plus A-list stars like Robert De Niro and Leo DiCaprio.
Now that the first trailer just dropped online, it's bound to be the talk of Oklahoma again for the next few weeks.
Beyond what may prove to be a terribly poor accent attempt for DiCaprio's character, the movie looks like it will stay true to the book and share the horrific series of events surrounding Oklahoma's most infamous serial killer William K. Hale.
He's the most famous of the real-life Osage villains that used loose laws to grow an empire on the deaths of native brides and their families.
If you haven't read the book, you might consider it. While we won't know how true to the story the film will be, it's a ferociously entertaining tale of pure Oklahoma terror.
The movie will premiere in October.
