This week we're taking a look at those robots in disguise waging an endless battle between the Autobots and the evil forces of the Decepticons, the Transformers! But, like, in the comics, not in the cartoons, or the movies.

The Transformers have been tied to comics since the beginning, with Marvel writers being responsible for the names and backstories of most of the major characters in the series. This video takes a look at the history of the franchise in comics, from the beloved original series through the various reboots and relaunches, as well as the various other franchises the Transformers have encountered.
