One of the best parts about October is there are plenty of opportunities for little ones to wear their Halloween costume and get free candy! Recently, we outlined some local fall festivals happening in Southwest Oklahoma, so we thought we should highlight some local trunk-or-treat events.

Although not as thrilling as trick-or-treating from door-to-door in your neighborhood, a good ole trunk-or-treat is still a fun opportunity to ask strangers for free candy.

Fall Fair at the Square & Trunk-or-Treat Car Show by C3 - Saturday, Oct. 22

Cache Road Square, located on the corner of Cache Road and 38th Street, will host its annual Fall Fair at the Square on Saturday, Oct. 22, along with a trunk-or-treat car show hosted by C3 Car Club of Lawton. Cache Road Square is one of my favorite places in Lawton to shop, mostly because I love me some Big Lots! (As Jeri Christmas, Big Lots is one of my favorite holiday decoration shopping spots.) So a day filled with shopping and a trunk-or-treat sounds like a perfect afternoon with the grandkids.
