Its going to be a busy weekend in the Lawton/Ft Sill area, and one of the top activities will be the 6th annual Trykes 'N Treads Car Show, coming to the Great Plains Coliseum this Saturday and Sunday. The show will feature traditional cars, 4 x 4's, low riders, motorcycles and even semi-trucks. Vehicles can enter the show with just a $30 entrance fee, and the winner of the Best In Show will receive $1000.

Kathy from the Lawton Mountain Metro Chamber of AMBUCS came into the morning show Thursday, to talk about the car show, as well as the general mission of AMBUCS, which is to help supply therapeutic tricicles and ramps for those in need in the Lawton/Ft. Sill area. The car show is the Mountain/Metro chapter's largest fundraiser every year. Funds raised will go to donating AMBUCS trikes to handicapped individuals in the area, as well as installing access ramps at homes with residents with limited mobility.

The car show will get underway Saturday morning at 10 a.m. and will go until 6 p.m. They'll start it all back up on Sunday at 10 a.m. and go until 2:30. Admission to the car show is $10 for adults for a one day pass and $15 for both Saturday and Sunday, for those 12 and over. Kids 12 and under are free.
