Anita Cochran was honored on Tuesday (March 13) by some of her peers, who also happen to be the biggest names in country music. The 90's Unplugged event, held at Nashville's 3rd and Lindsley, served as a benefit concert for the singer, who is currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer.

The star-studded affair included performances by Crystal Gayle, Wade Hayes, Clay Walker, Ty Herndon, Jamie O’Neal, Lorrie Morgan, Steve Wariner, Terri Clark, Mandy Barnett, Bryan White, Pam Tillis, Suzy Bogguss and the Lynns. While each act took the stage to perform several of their hits, the biggest surprise of the night came when Wynonna Judd made a special appearance. Cochran did not know Judd was going to be on hand.

“When you know somebody needs something, you just do it,” Wynonna told the audience, according to Wide Open Country. “I’m here because I love this woman. I’m wanting you to just receive this love tonight and let it heal you, and a sense of not only belonging, but knowing that you are loved because of who you are and not just what you do."

Wynonna then went on to perform two of the Judds’ biggest hits, “Grandpa (Tell Me ‘Bout the Good Ole Days)” and “Love Is Alive.” Cochran shared her admiration for Wynonna as she told the story of first hearing the Judds on the radio as a teenager.

Country Stars Who've Been Affected by Cancer

"You and your mama have been huge inspirations for me coming to Nashville and doing this for a living," Cochran said. "Thank you so much for always inspiring me with your voice and your beautiful music."

Wynonna then praised Cochran's tenacity, admitting that she is in awe of her brave fight against cancer.

"What has gotten me here and what has given me the courage to do what I've done for 35 years, is stories like Anita's. She's been to hell to the point that I honestly don't know how you've done it," Wynonna confessed.

Cochran released a string of songs to country radio between 1997 and 2004, scoring her biggest hit with "Back to You," a duet with Steve Wariner that reached No. 1 in 1997. To contribute to her medical bills, visit her GoFund Me page.
