Who was named "most likely to succeed" in your high school graduation class? Do you know what they're doing now? Are they successful? According to a Wall Street Journal poll, they most likely are.

Research shows that winning the title is a good predictor that they'll succeed because of academic ability, social skills and motivation.

However, one-third of those who were given the label said it was a curse in that it put a huge amount of pressure on them to succeed, based on high school definitions of success. But others said it motivated them to live up to the expectations.
