When Morning Comes Too Early
I have spent the majority of my radio life (since 2004) working either the afternoons or evenings. When I started here in Lawton in May of 2014, I had only been off evenings for two weeks, and literally had been going to bed at almost the same time as I had to started getting up for the morning show. I have always been a night person, and apparently the adjustment to morning is one that just hasn't been an easy one for me, nor one that I have completely made, as evidenced by this happening this morning.
Sometimes, it's just better to go back to bed and start again fresh tomorrow.
